Uisce

Uisce, or "water" in Irish. Water is a very important component of the distilled and brewed beverages in Ireland. The phrase "uisce beatha" (pronouced "ishka baha") means "water of life" and is what the Irish call whiskey. It's also crucial to the Guinness beer brewery.
